Founded in 2007 Barbier Security Group has been tasked with providing custom protective security programs for individuals, government organizations and private companies. Join our talented Vehicle Patrol Security Officer team! We are hiring for Full Time Vehicle Patrol Security Officer in Marin County . Barbier Security Group is looking to hire Patrol Security Officers interested in providing safety and security by performing extensive patrols (by vehicle and foot) in a professional manner for our commercial and residential properties. Patrol Security Officers make multiple, randomly timed stops during each patrol period and perform checks of all properties. Patrol Security Officers work independently and as a team to provide quality service and support to all our clients throughout the greater Bay Area. - Shift: Grave (Thursday - Sunday, 4 day week) 9:30pm - 6am

Vehicle Patrol Agent duties include: - Maintain a detailed on-duty activity log
- Respond to triggered alarms, distress calls, or calls for service
- Issue, log, and track parking violations; execute towing policies
- Extensive patrols by foot in addition to vehicle
- Generate awareness among communities
- Search properties for unwanted trespassers or suspicious persons
- Report emergency incidents to first responder agencies
- Investigate any potential safety issues or vandalism
- Maintain a good working relationship with local law enforcement agencies
- Deter or prevent any criminal activity or unacceptable conduct
- Address any additional client concerns
Requirements: - Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have Grave shift and weekend availability
- Must have a valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have had a license for at least three years
- No suspension or revocation of driving privileges
- Current California Guard Card
- No serious violations including DUI, suspended license, refusing a drug/alcohol test, driving with a suspended license, and fleeing and eluding
- Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift on various surfaces (concrete, carpet, etc.)
- Ability to move 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications: - Eligibility to work in the United States
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills; bilingual is a plus
- Professional appearance; well-groomed with no visible tattoos or piercings
- Desire to pursue police academy, law enforcement, or criminal justice career encouraged
- One-year previous mobile patrol, security officer, or asset protection experience
- Permit for exposed firearm is a plus
