Satellite Shelters, Inc is an industry leader and provider of mobile offices, pre-fabricated buildings, blast-resistant modules, construction job-site office trailers and storage solutions. Our Cincinnati, OH area branch is looking for a skilled carpenter who is also a jack of all trades to join our team! 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the cleaning and prepping of units in compliance with Satellite Shelter’s policies and procedures and according to specifications outlined by Operations Manager. We are looking for an experienced carpenter and problem-solver who can work independently and get things done! The right person will be hard-working with a wide variety of skills in carpentry, construction and basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.  There will be the opportunity to grow in this position as you learn more about the industry and roles in the yard.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean all units
• Wash and wax flooring
• Paint all portions of units to specifications
• Remove and replace lighting & filters
• Clean up yard and shop
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hard-worker who is willing and eager to learn!
• Physical/Mental Demands:
• Wears personnel protective equipment as required
• Demonstrated ability to perform rigorous outside and indoor duties including walking, standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, sitting, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity, etc.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Good fine motor skills, coordination, range of motion and grip strength
• Ability to work in all climate conditions.
• Ability to be exposed to loud noise levels.
• Ability to operate, or learn to operate, hand and power tools
• Ability to work in an environment containing dirt, grease, and dust.
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and heavy equipment.

This role requires the candidate to pass a pre-employment background check & drug screen and will be subject to random drug tests if hired.

Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters, inc/Satellite Industries, Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
